LaValley, M.S., CCC-SLP, has worked in the field of speech-language pathology since 2003. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>She received a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University,and a Master\u2019s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Nova Southeastern University.\u00a0\u00a0 Lynn\u2019s clinical experience includes evaluation and treatment of speech and language disorders including: articulation, phonology, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, receptive and expressive language, pragmatic language, and augmentative and alternative communication.\u00a0 She has worked with a diverse population of children and adults within the clinical and residential settings, as well private and public schools.\u00a0 Lynn has a great deal of experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down\u2019s syndrome, Angelmans\u2019 Syndrome, and Cerebral Pasly.\u00a0 Lynn is a member of a special interest group which focuses on Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and is PROMPT trained.\u00a0 She holds a license from the Connecticut Department of Public Health, and from the Connecticut Department of Public Education, and a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lynn M.
