Lynn M. LaValley, M.S., CCC-SLP, has worked in the field of speech-language pathology since 2003.

She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Southern Connecticut State University,and a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Nova Southeastern University.   Lynn’s clinical experience includes evaluation and treatment of speech and language disorders including: articulation, phonology, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, receptive and expressive language, pragmatic language, and augmentative and alternative communication.  She has worked with a diverse population of children and adults within the clinical and residential settings, as well private and public schools.  Lynn has a great deal of experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down’s syndrome, Angelmans’ Syndrome, and Cerebral Pasly.  Lynn is a member of a special interest group which focuses on Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and is PROMPT trained.  She holds a license from the Connecticut Department of Public Health, and from the Connecticut Department of Public Education, and a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
