It is the responsibility of each family to understand what coverage their health insurance plan offers for speech-language therapy services.  Many families are able to receive reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses for speech-language therapy.  Therapy for Language and Communication, LLC will provide coded documentation for families to submit to their insurance carrier for reimbursement of services.  Below is a list of resources for private grant funding options:

Sessions are 60 minutes in length (i.e. 45 minutes direct treatment, 15 minutes caregiver consultation, billing, etc.)

Payment is due at the beginning of each session, including any co-payments, co-insurance, or private pay fees.  Payment forms accepted are cash, check, and major credit cards.

In order for individuals to progress in therapy, consistent attendance is vital.  Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice should you need to cancel or reschedule a session.  We reserve the right to bill a cancellation fee for sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice and “no shows.”   This fee is the patient’s responsibility and cannot be paid by the insurance carrier as we cannot bill insurance for missed appointments.  Patients will be made aware of this fee at the time services are initiated.
